Junior Corporate Accountant Position Summary
The Junior Corporate Accountant is responsible for various day to day accounting functions which includes processing supplier invoices, verifying banking instructions, updating supplier accounts, and responding to questions related to accounts payable. Other activities can include creating journal entries, reconciling GL accounts, and reviewing and reconciling bank accounts.
This is a hyrid position located in Denver, CO.
The salary range for this position is between $62,000k - $74,500k, depending on level of experience.
Junior Corporate Accountant Primary Responsibilities
Accurately record and submit for approval supplier invoices
Collaborate with other departments to ensure all invoicing is accurate and timely
Verify and accurately update supplier information
Assistance in month-end Accounting close processes
Preparation of monthly bank reconciliations
Assistance in preparation of monthly journal entries and general ledger account reconciliation for month-end closing as assigned
Assistance in the preparation of financial and audit schedules
Preparation of periodic accounting reports and schedules as needed
Perform special projects and prepare ad hoc operational and financial analyses as required by management
Other duties as assigned
Junior Corporate Accountant Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Excel skills required
Strong interpersonal and interrelation skills with an ability to establish build and maintain relationships with a variety of people across departments
Organized and detail oriented with excellent prioritization and time management skills
Outstanding communication skills, both written and spoken
Critical and analytical decision-making skills
