Torch Technologies Inc., is seeking a Junior Contracts Administrator supporting our Contracts Department. Conducts proposal preparation, agreement/contract negotiation and administration of major contracts.

Analyzes estimates of service, material, equipment and production costs. Monitors company performance for conformance to original proposal and maintains continual reviews to ensure that all terms and conditions are met and that the contract is in accordance with legal requirements, customer specifications and government regulations. Prepares and disseminates information throughout the company regarding contract status, compliance, modification, deviation, negotiation and termination.

Initiates documentation to authorize and direct work in accordance with contractual specifications. Prepares special reports and analyses as required.

Job Requirements

BS/BA in Procurement or Business Administration required with a minimum of 2+ years of experience working with Federal Government Contracts environment. Must have knowledge of the FAR, DFARs, and other related regulations.

Experience with US Government contracts required. Proposal support experience a plus. Qualified applicant will have good communication (oral and written) skills and the ability to establish and maintain a close relationship with internal and external customers and work independently and take a proactive role to assure that items are completed on or ahead of schedule.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products to include - Word and Excel. Proficiency with Deltek Costpoint Accounting Software is desired. NCMA or comparable certification a plus.
