Cordia Resources is currently seeking a Junior Accountant specializing in Accounts Payable. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or entry-level professional with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic corporate environment.Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable transactions accurately and timely, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and employee reimbursements.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies as needed.
- Prepare and submit expense reports for reimbursement, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of 1099 forms for vendors as required by tax regulations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address inquiries and resolve issues related to accounts payable.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals and reporting.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
- Previous internship or work experience in handling accounts payable is a plus.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
