The successful candidate will support the GSE team that is responsible for performing the system engineering and
integration, design, test, analysis, fabrication, assembly, and delivery of all ground support hardware necessary to meet the flight hardware ground operations needs from the manufacturing facility to the launch site.
The Liquid Engines Office (LEO) supports the system level design, integration, development, test, qualification, and
acceptance of the Space Launch System (SLS) liquid engines. This position will support the LEO at Marshall Space Flight
Center (MSFC) or at Kennedy Space Center (KSC).
The Senior Systems Integration Engineer will support the SLS Level III Liquid Engines Office ensuring the adequacy
of Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) products to the SLS Vehicle and to Kennedy Space Center Ground
Operations. Operations and Logistics responsibilities include:
organizations to coordinate and obtain the necessary information to produce documents that meet the Program/Project
requirements and assist in the review and approvals of documents.
(OMRS), as well as the review of Exploration Ground Systems (EGS) Work Authorization Documents (WADs).
Participate in task teams and document reviews.
Provide status on issues and deliverables.
Maintain open communication with the SLS Level II Vehicle SE&I Operations Team.

Degree in Engineering or related field from an ABET-accredited university is required. Typically, educational requirements
are the equivalent of a Ph.D., with minimum of 24 years experience, a Masters with at least 28 years of experience, or BS
with at least 30 years of experience.
Strong vehicle and ground operations experience and a working knowledge of the NASA SE&I processes.
Working knowledge of NASA requirements.
Excellent communication skills.
The following experience is desired:
Hands on experience with operations and logistics at KSC is highly desirable.
Knowledge of liquid engine design, manufacture and ground processing.
Working knowledge of requirement verification and validation.
Prior working knowledge of Solumina and/or Windchill.
