The Defense & Intelligence Group has a current opening for a Jr Test Engineer at our Customer site in Springfield, VA
We are looking for a Junior level Systems Test Engineer with IEC knowledge.
Successful candidate will work onsite at the NTO in support of test directors and test events of Program systems. Assist with the coordination of LSC application interoperability and regression test schedules with other Customer's components. Contribute to Test Plans, participate in testing, and assist with test reports to ensure Program application upgrades satisfy requirements of the Operational mission. Provide test result feedback to the LSC Product Owners and LSC Engineers in the form of DRs and CRs to be incorporated into future version upgrades. The position is responsible for communicating upcoming LSC deliveries for install and test, as well as being responsible for early communication of any changes to LSC deliveries or process changes which will impact the NTO. Attend NTO meetings in support of the Program. The ideal candidate would be a self-starter, resourceful and reliable, work as a team member or independently, be able to bring new perspectives and ideas to the company, and proactively complete assigned activities on time.
Active Top Secret/SCI clearance
Strong knowledge of IEC
Exploitation experience using various national, commercial, and/or airborne sensors
Strong customer support skills
Demonstrated the ability to adapt and apply learning and experience to new situations, aligning skills to projects and initiatives.
Demonstrated the ability to produce high quality written reports and or analytical products within scheduled timelines that meet customer needs.
Bachelors degree with minimum 1-2 yrs of xperience in test engineering of software systems
Experience with the development and implementation of test strategies, plans, traceability matrices, procedures, and reports
Experience in testing of systems at the integration, system and end-to-end levels
Experience documenting test results according to the customer's defined standards
The ability to articulate and defend results and testing procedures to a range of audiences
The ability to analyze customer and system requirements; evaluate alternative approaches; design and develop solutions; and lead/assist with the testing and integration of new and modified solutions at customer site.
Experience with JIRA and Remedy for issue management
