Jr System Administrator (Ts/Sci Poly)

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Jr System Administrator (Linux/VMware) to support the DIA's Enterprise Security Tools Task Order across multiple locations in DC/MD/VA. This individual will be responsible for collaborating to develop innovative solutions to enable secure and reliable operations of enterprise computer systems.

Clearance: TS/SCI ability to obtain CI Polygraph

Location: 100% On-site

• Reston, VA; Washington D.C., College Park, MD

Responsibilities of the Jr System Administrator:

• Responsible for operating and maintain Linux and Windows based servers

• Collaborate with team members to develop innovative solutions to enable secure and reliable operations

• Install, configure, and maintain devices, applications, and security tools including VMware and Linux based servers

• Create system and network diagrams

• Conduct risk assessments of servers to ensure compliance with DoD and Federal standards using Risk Management Framework (RMF)

• Responsible for automating deployments, configuration management, and cyber security tools operations

Qualifications of the Jr System Administrator:

• Active TS/SCI (ability to obtain CI Polygraph)

• Bachelors degree with 2+ years of IT system administration experience

• IAT Level II certification (CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, or SSCP)

• Cybersecurity Service Provider (CSSP)-IS certification 30 days from start date (CEH, CySA+, GICSP, SSCP, CHFI, CFR, Cloud+, or CND

• Experience with VMware, FireEye, Ansible, Encase, Fidelis, Suricata, Varonis, or VMWare tools

• Experience with DoD STIGs and Risk Management Framework

• Experience with scripting in PowerShell and BASH command line interfaces

• Experience with Cloud Enterprise and authorizing cloud systems

• Experience with Cloud services, including AWS, Azure, or GCP

Compensation of the Jr System Administrator:

• Total compensation based on experience level - $85,000 - $90,000+
