Providing an accurate strategy is crucial to the successful execution of Longplay’s client campaigns. We are excited to grow our team with a reliable, energetic and organized Jr Strategist that will be responsible for managing email marketing campaigns, building briefs, and reviews as needed. This role involves research, analysis, and assisting in the development of strategic initiatives for Longplay clients.
Core Responsibilities:
Manage large scale email marketing campaigns and flows from strategy to execution
Establish targeting strategies based on customer lifecycle segmentation & predictive analytics
Leverage CRM & analytics platforms to support campaign execution (Google Analytics, Shopify, etc.)
Analyze and track data to maximize the performance of email campaigns to achieve engagement, conversion, revenue and growth goals
Ensure all emails comply with best practices to ensure accurate email tracking, deliverability, and a great customer experience
Assisting strategist in internal communicating email strategy and providing Strategist results to send to clients
Managing & overseeing all client Klaviyo accounts to ensure compliance with best practices to improve deliverability, email & SMS performance and customer experience
Developing email marketing strategies to improve engagement, drive customer acquisition, and maximize customer retention & LTV for clients
Determining & managing email & SMS marketing KPIs to hit client revenue goals
Working closely with our Creative team to build and execute a creative email marketing strategy for campaigns and flows
Building and executing optimization strategies to split test and analyze results to continuously improve email performance
Additional tasks as assigned by SLT
Requirements:
Minimum 6 months experience in strategy, consulting, marketing, business analysis, or a related role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with data analysis tools and software is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
The ideal Jr Strategist candidate will possess the following:
Experience managing a team of a minimum of 3 people/ team members.
Passion and general understanding of e-commerce businesses
A Proactive and results-oriented mindset with strong organization and interpersonal skills, which engage, motivate, and inspire team members to achieve continuous success.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, problem solve and to work within deadlines and proactively manage workloads across all departments.
Flexible, adaptable, and open to changing business priorities.
Excellent written and verbal presentation skills to drive comprehension and inspiration not only for the team but also when reporting to clients and the SLT.
Proven team player with the skills and ability to rapidly build and maintain internal and external authentic relationships.
A working Mac (not PC) & reliable internet connection - this is a fully remote position!
