The Junior Programmer Analyst, under the direction of the Clinical Applications Project Manager, provides training and support to clinical end users, clinical information system testing and design, remote helpdesk support to all authorized end users, and produces and distributes monthly reports for program managers.
Assists with the development of training procedure manuals, course materials, online training modules and competency testing in the Cerner Community Behavioral Health and Cerner PowerChart EMR environments.
Assists with hands-on and remote training of physicians and clinical staff in the Cerner Community Behavioral Health and Cerner PowerChart EMR environments.
Provides remote and field based HELPDESK customer service support to all authorized EMR Users and their Supervisors.
Assists with the monitoring of training activities and validates effectiveness.
Assists with the development, testing and improvement of EMR system design
Produces monthly EMR process/documentation/charting reports and distributes to responsible managers and staff.

Associates degree in Computer Science, business, health information mgmt, or clinical specialties.
One (1)year related work experience in clinical administration, clinical direct care services, and/or information technology in a healthcare environment or comparable activities.
One (1) year related work experience in electronic medical records systems.
One (1) year related work experience in end-user support and training.
Familiarity with ICD-10 and CPT coding.
Strong critical thinking, customer service and analytical skills.
Intermediate experience in Word and PowerPoint.
Intermediate experience in Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access.
Thorough knowledge of legal medical record requirements, medical record forms, and HIPAA guidelines.
Must maintain required credentials and mandatory training requirements to ensure compliance with all State regulations and CHCS policies.
Must maintain a valid drivers license and automobile insurance coverage, be able to travel as needed, and be able to meet on a consistent basis the driving record requirements of the Companys auto insurance carrier if you drive your vehicle during company business
Must be able to meet the physical requirements to complete SAMA and CPR training including lifting up to 12 lbs. and supporting up to 55 lbs.; bending, stooping and getting on and off the floor without assistance.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, business, health information magement, or clinical specialties.
Two (2) year' related work experience with electronic medical records systems, preferably Cerner software systems.
Two (2) years' related work experience with project management.
Intermediate knowledge of physician office or hospital operational workflows.
Thorough knowledge of data retrieval in clinical information systems.
Intermediate experience with SQL scripting.
