Summary:

Jr. PKI Engineer - Engineering Subject Matter Specialist. Seasoned Public Key Infrastructure Cryptography Specialist will assist in providing policy, process and technical support to the design, mature and sustain Microsoft Certificate Services and Entrust Identity Guard credential management systems, based Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Technical contributions to the development and sustainment of the USAID Certificate Policy (CP) and Certification Practices Statement (CPS),Experience with configuring and deploying the following technologies in accordance with the USAID Agency CP/CPS:

  • Thales nShield Connect Hardware Security Module HSM suites

  • SafeNet middleware and HSM suites

  • Microsoft Windows Server 2012 Certificate Services Infrastructure (CA, CRL, AD integration)

  • Entrust Entelligence Security Provider (ESP)

  • Entrust Certificate Authority ServicesExperience in the design, install and configuring of Certificate Lifecycle Management solutions Experience providing architecture and integration support including registration, authentication, authorization, and workflow processes

Experience with Federal PKI (PIV and PIV-1) issuance and FISAM LOA4 Credentialing Experience supporting system validation and operational testing

Experience provide architecture and integration support leveraging current infrastructure and new cloud services

Non-Essential Duties:

  • Works easily with internal and external team mates

  • Effectively communicates to Senior PKI engineers and stakeholders about PKI and IdAM

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Must be accountable and able to take direction

Minimum Qualifications:

(To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

  • 5 - 8 years of PKI engineering operations experience.Experience deploying a PKI following NIST 800-53, and Federal Information Processes

  • Knowledge of Standards 140-2, aligned with the x.509 Federal Common Certificate Policy, and VISA certificate policy

  • Experience defining certificate lifecycle management processes and procedures (e.g.,registration, identity proofing, certificate request, revocation, renewal)Proficiency in the design, implementation and migration of Microsoft Certificate Services (stand-alone and AD integrated)

  • Must be eligible for a secret clearance (Min.)

The system consists of redundant CIC servers, media servers, MP 124s, Polycom/Nortel telephones, median 1000 gateways, Aspect server, DHCP server, screen server, audio server, and database and mail servers. Maintain servers with the latest software release, and security compliance with all Army information assurance requirements. Tasks include but are not limited to: * Install desktop and telephone hardware/software related to the I3 ACD system for end user * Provide customized call trees, interactive voice recordings, and routing configurations based on customer requirements * Provide end user training and technical support to system customers * Provide upgrade projects to the I3 ACD and supporting systems for the improvement of service quality and capacity * Troubleshoot IT and determination of root cause of outages and system supporting the I3 ACD system * Provide consulting and analyzing system improvements and enhancements to meet customer requirements * Provide reports on the systems health, performance and capacity as required * Provide documentation of all system components, wiring, cross connects, and demarcation points * Manage Remedy tickets/queues for proper work flow and resolution of faults * Attend meetings, workgroups, forums, and Tiger teams as needed * Maintain professional attitude in face of high pressure working environment Qualifications Certified on the Interactive Intelligence, ICCE, I3 platform Security+ Certified Top Secret Clearance Required High School Diploma or GED 2 years of college, technical or vocational school in telecommunications or related field (and combination of education, training, or experience).
