Provide functional and financial support to Washington Headquarters Services Financial Management Directorate (WHS FMD) and its over 6,000 user base on the Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) financial management system.

Junior Oracle Federal Financials Functional SME with experience supporting one or more of the following business process areas, (A2R, B2R, P2P, O2C, OTL, UMX, OBIEE).

Duties include;

  • Provide Tier 1 help desk support within the DAI Oracle Federal Financial R12 shared service environment
  • Identify, troubleshoot and resolve DAI system issues, an Oracle Federal Financials 12.2.8 platform
  • Identify deficiencies in business processes and document gaps, and provide solutions to bridge gaps and enhance processes
  • Develop test plans, provide testing documentation, and perform testing activities
  • Develop training sessions and documentation
  • Identify and document new requirements working with users
  • Create help desk tickets using Serena and/or Remedy ticketing system

Requirements

Skills required to fill purpose/duties of position listed above including:

  • 2-6 years functional experience in supporting Oracle R12 Federal Financial (A2R, B2R, P2P, O2C, OBIEE) business process areas with emphasis on analysis, sustainment and problem resolution
  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability with prior experience working to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve service requests within the Oracle E-Business Suite
  • Knowledge of DoD accounting and financial management processes
  • Active DoD Secret clearance

Additional Qualifications Preferred:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent related experience
  • Demonstrated excellent customer service skills
  • Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and technical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • W2 Employees only
