Jr. It/Voip Technician

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking several Jr. IT/VOIP Technicians to join a long term DoD program contract job opportunity supporting Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) in the following locations:

• San Antonio, TX
• Columbus, OH
• Ogden, UT
• O'Fallon, IL

Fully-funded through 2027, The Jr. IT/VOIP Technician will assist with NOC Support of worldwide video and voice services. These on-site positions require an active SECRET clearance.

Responsibilities for the Jr. IT/VOIP Technician include:

• Perform network and telecommunications system incident investigation.

• Oversee DoD-wide voice/video support hardware and services (legacy and current offerings): Voice telephony switching on Unclassified and Classified networks, mobile flyaway kits, Voice Internet Service Provider (VISP), and Video Teleconferencing (VTC) systems.

• Maintain, troubleshoot, document and repair network devices to include phone systems, call managers, VTC's, network infrastructure and trunk circuits.

Required Qualifications for the Jr. IT/VOIP Technician include:

• 2+ years of experience with Information Technology focused on networking

• Proficiency in TDM telephone switches, VoIP, Call Manager, or VTC systems

• Hands on experience with CISCO, Juniper, Nortel, ACME Packet, Oracle, Palo Alto, Session Boarder Controllers (SBC), or H.323 endpoints.

• Ability to perform troubleshooting, configuration, and restoration of services across multiple platforms.

• General understanding of IP and transport network topologies

• IAT Level II Certification (Security+ CE, or equivalent)

• Active Secret Clearance

Compensation for the Jr. IT/VOIP Technician include:

• Salary Range: $80,000-95,000 depending on experience
