Job Description
: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented employee to join our team. The employee will assist in managing, maintaining, and optimizing accounting support schedules and technological equipment to ensure smooth operations across the organization as well as answering calls and assisting with receptionist duties at store support. Demonstrates the ability to advance within the organization. Under the supervision of the of the Senior Staff Accountant, this position may also perform variety of clerical duties such as printing, scanning invoices, performing inquiries, journal entries and posting of invoices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Ability to review, analyze and comprehend accounting functions performed
Maintains positive consistent interactions representing Store Support
Review / analyze and code plant expenses/freight charges for payment
Records and updates balance sheet accounts and reports
May engage in the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
May performs A/P duties such as verifying and posting invoices for payment and ensuring expenditures are charged to appropriate account
Assist with IT staff to obtain, implement and track the placement of IT equipment. Including printers, computers, phone systems and credit card machines
Able to develop peer productive relationships to achieve the goals of the position
Maintains an efficient, accurate and reliable work ethic
Conduct regular audits and maintain equipment maintenance schedules and replacement lifecycles
Assist in troubleshooting equipment issues and coordinating repairs or replacements as needed
Job Requirements
Strong verbal and communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
