FGDC Program Administration Services

The Transportation Theme Lead (TTL) administers several projects dedicated to advancing the Transportation Theme of the National Spatial Data Infrastructure. Projects include Geospatial Data Act Compliance, Transportation Theme Management, Transportation Subcommittee Management, Geospatial-Transportation Standards Development, and general support of the Department's, BTS', and OSAV's geospatial data management efforts.

The GBA shall assist the TTL fulfill their program management duties which include;

• Developing and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Identifying, triaging, sequencing and tracking tasks.

• Developing and managing the program schedule.

• Contact Management

• Producing, participating in, leading, and reporting on peer, community, committee, and working group meetings; Developing meeting agendas.

• Scheduling meetings.

• Developing meeting content

• Facilitating member participation

• Taking, compiling, and publishing meeting minutes/notes.

• Facilitating after meeting follow-ups

• Writing, reviewing, and maintaining technical reports and strategic plans.

• Developing and publishing web content.

• Developing methods to measure program efficacy.

• Collecting, producing, and reporting program metrics.

• General administrative and support activities to enhance the TTL's efficacy.

Education:

Degree in Business Administration, Information-Systems, Systems-Analysis, or Communications.

Qualifications

The resource must demonstrate the skills and abilities necessary to perform Task 3

Admin assistant

• Good at creating and nurturing relationships - getting the most of out these groups

• Running/Administrating work groups

• Handling communications - emails

• Contacting stakeholders and those in user groups

• Handling scheduling

• Making sure groups are running smoothly

General work

• Help team keep and stay organized

• Updating GeoPlatform site
