Job Introduction

Cambridge Global Payments is looking for a motivated Jr. Dealer to join their thriving sales team. The role of a Jr. Dealer is to develop, manage and expand a portfolio of foreign exchange clients and apply exemplary account management and relationship building skills.

Role Responsibility

  • Market our foreign exchange service solutions to organizations in your designated territory through exemplary customer service, persistent sales tactics and expand wallet share of business & referrals.

  • Work in partnership with the Sales team to manage new customers.

  • Thoroughly understand FX and other financial markets and effectively communicate them in non-complex manner to customers.

  • Assist with the conversion to trading status of new clients by jointly presenting our service offering with the Sales Team and answering technical FX & financial markets related questions.

  • Work with the Payment Solutions Division to develop strategies and marketing plans that will enhance sales production.

  • Relationship Management skills; maintain the highest level of professionalism when meeting/talking with customers.

  • Compliance with all relevant internal/external policies & procedures.

  • Liaise with internal partners including Business Development and Compliance to leverage ultimate customer solution and service.

The Ideal Candidate

  • At least 3-5 years of business-to-business trading and relationship management experience.

  • Knowledge and experience in foreign exchange, preferably with online systems in the financial services arena.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or equivalent.

  • Strong analytical and disciplined trading skills with experience using all FX technology applications.

  • FX Options experience is an asset.

  • Proficient in IT search applications and experience with Reuters/Bloomberg is desired.

  • Demonstrated client service skills.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES * Validate EDI orders * Allocate orders and distribute to the different warehouses * Process and track all orders whether they are make-up or stock * Work in conjunction with Purchasing, Imports, Sales, Planning and the warehouses to expedite orders on a timely manner * Request distros and extensions when needed * Provide customer service to accounts when needed * Maintain clean reports, files and documentations for future needs * Ensure that Sarbanes/Oxley Act is being adhered to within the sales team * Order tickets for Private Label orders * Assist Claims Department in resolving chargebacks whenever information is requested by them * Versed in customer's internal website/system (retrieve p.o. info., allocate p.o., track p.o., check if cleared by CTL, various vendor information) this applies to Wal-Mart only * Work closely with Inventory Control to monitor the accuracy of the inventory * Follow up on Special Project forms * Some steps might differ depending on accounts and/or divisions (SBU's) SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES * Time Management skills * Strong verbal and written communication required. * Bilingual a plus * Organizational skills * Interpersonal skills * Teamwork * Computer skills MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS * Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree * Retail or wholesale apparel background, preferred * Ability to work flexible hours depending on workload Perry Ellis International Inc.
