About the Team

The Junior Digital Designer reports to the Director, Creative Services, and is part of the Brand Creative Team for Rejuvenation. We are a team of collaborative designers working in digital (website, emarketing) and print (catalog, signage & packaging) to bring the Rejuvenation brand to life across all marketing channels.

About the Role

In the Junior Digital Designer role, you will design, organize, and coordinate assets for the Rejuvenation website. You will work cross-functionally with ecommerce merchants, brand marketing, and designers to update our website on a daily cadence. You will work with the lead site designer to design and develop creative marketing execution for upcoming seasons, meeting brand creative standards and deadlines. In addition to website responsibilities, you may also assist with other projects across the creative team, including email design, emarketing collateral, and internal-facing projects.

Technical Competencies required:

  • You are extremely proficient on Mac OSX with Adobe Photoshop. Additional programs in Adobe CS are a plus.

  • You understand typography.

  • You are proficient in MS Office

  • Experience in retail/eCommerce preferred.

  • InVision, Sketch, and/or Adobe XD are a plus.

  • Print design experience a plus.

They are trusted to work on multiple tasks ranging from routine maintenance and data entry to providing subject matter expert guidance on the adoption of new technologies/software. Contribute to the organizations success through demonstrating Port values while successfully achieving or exceeding performance goals and objectives for the following major job functions. * Provide subject matter expert support to pursue, test and implement innovative technologies and processes to increase efficiencies throughout design, construction and maintenance of Port assets. * Support the implementation of BIM processes and standards. * Make recommendations and support the GIS group in improving the Port's existing GIS database. * Automate data entry and conversion tasks using FME. * Leverage the Port's existing systems, workflows and software to more efficiently support business unit needs. * Test new technologies or modified processes and present proof of concept to upper level management. * Maintenance of Port's digital data * GIS database updates and/or data entry * Maintainable map production * Input As-Built and Surveyed CAD files into GIS * Multi-discipline design support including civil, electrical, mechanical, structural and architectural disciplines. * 3d scanning – Process data collected by a surveyor to create a usable model. Software may include Autodek ReCap, Trimble Realworks, and or Autodesk Revit. This will require placement of targets in the field for the 3D scanner, manipulation of large point clouds to merge several scans together, and then to isolate the appropriate amount of points required to create the final model. Then a final 3D model may be required and will be developed in Revit or Civil 3D. This model may be used by the technician or provided to consultants to continue the design process. * Liaison between Engineering and IT, Asset Management, Maintenance, Environmental, GIS, and Consultants to ensure integration of design technologies to meet the Port's needs throughout design, construction and management of facilities. * Assist with training and tutorial design (and delivery, if required); development of end user application help content; provide both complex and simple support to end users. * Performing basic architectural/engineering calculations. * Preparing specifications, reports and related data tables. * Maintaining liaison with design and drafting groups. * Preparing, reviewing, and approving drawings as required. * Under the direction of the Supervising Architect, may independently perform advanced technical assignments of various complexities within approved schedules and budgets. * May coordinate technical and administrative activities with employees in other disciplines and other departments participating on an assigned project. * May assist in the training and evaluation of assigned architectural and design/drafting personnel.
