We are seeking a talented individual for a Data/Systems Business Analyst I who functions as the liaison between the Developer and internal/external clients reviewing, analyzing, evaluating and documenting the technical component of data or systems business requirements for data/systems enhancements or new client implementations. Typically is assigned to projects involving modifications or enhancements to existing data files/systems or may work on a phase(s) of a new implementation of small scope and low to moderate complexity.

Essential Responsibilities:
:

  • Assists in the review, analysis and evaluation of data/systems business requirements for system modifications or data file enhancements; drafts functional specifications.

  • May also assist in the implementation of new clients and services.

  • Leverages data profiling tools and reports to draw information from large data sets.

  • Work with developers on project development and communication of issues.

  • Documents test cases, testing of development and assists clients in user acceptance testing.

  • Provides regular status reports to clients, developers, and management as needed.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to develop relationships both in person and over the phone.

  • Ability to be careful and thorough about detail.

  • Ability to analyze information and use logic to address work-related issues and problems.

  • Ability to work proficiently in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project. Preferred experience in Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, SQL, and Visio.

  • Familiarity with TSO, File-Aid, and reviewing Flat files.

  • Ability to work on complex projects with general direction and minimal guidance.

  • Ability to work independently as a member of various teams and committees.

  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.

Work Conditions and Physical Demands:

  • Primarily sedentary work in a general office environment

  • Ability to communicate and exchange information

  • Ability to comprehend and interpret documents and data

  • Requires occasional standing, walking, lifting, and moving objects (up to 10 lbs.)

  • Requires manual dexterity to use computer, telephone and peripherals

  • May be required to work extended hours for special business needs

  • May be required to travel at least 10% of time based on business needs

Certifications: (Required/Desired)

  • Knowledge and/or certifications in software development methodologies such as Scrum desired, but not required

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required

Minimum Related Work Experience:

  • 0 2 years related work experience, industry experience preferred

  • Proficient SQL knowledge and working knowledge of relational database systems preferred

Reports to Infrastructure Manager Reports to Senior System Administrator for Day to Day Tasks, Projects and Technical issues JOB DESCRIPTION Summary/Objective The JR Systems Administrator is responsible for supporting infrastructure consisting of network systems, computer systems, phone systems, data center technologies, virtualized and hosted environments as well as supporting cloud environments and applications such as Amazon AWS (VPC, EC2, S3). Essential Functions * Assist in Install, configure, monitor and support an organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), Wireless Network, VoIP, Servers, Network devices and Internet system. * Maintain network hardware and software. Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and perform necessary maintenance to support network availability. * Assist with support for end-users with desktop, phone, printer, email, mobile devices and remote support, including infrastructure hardware for escalated issues. * Maintain an adequate level of knowledge of operating system and application software being used to provide high levels of support to users for escalated issues. * Monitor and evaluate efficiency of software/hardware usage, providing items to be covered in training of users, making them more efficient. * Install new software applications or hardware on the LAN, coordinating assistance from third party vendors when necessary. * Add and maintain service accounts on the network; assign application access, ensuree security, and their configurations are within standards. * Assist in installation of workstations and printers on local LAN and remote Branches when assigned the task as part of a larger project or when help desk staff is available. * Participate in Team collaboration meetings, providing input and suggestions, and prepare minutes of discussion items. * Provide written document which defines upcoming needs of network which would require purchase of additional hardware or software and the time frame in which the purchase is needed. * Monitor and report licenses on applications to ensure compliance monthly. * Utilize technology to provide staff with a fast accurate and secure method of gaining access to information so they can service the client in the fastest and most efficient manner possible. * Monitor load on servers site wide and make recommendations accordingly. * Carry out other such duties as may be assigned or requested per management. * Willing to work extended hours, nights and weekends, and be on call on short notice depending on business needs * Responsible for meeting legal requirements and following internal policies * Responsible for creating and maintaining documentation for products implemented including help desk and end user guides.
