The Business Analyst is a direct contributor for the success of project implementations, including transition to customer support as well as overall internal and external client satisfaction. The Business Analyst is responsible for: client requirements gathering, design specifications, testing of client applications, client support, training and systems integration.

Essential Responsibilities:

The Business Analyst, along with the Project Manager and IT representative, form the implementation team.

Support Client Services in ensuring the success factors of each project are met in the areas of change control, issue and risk escalation, and overall client satisfaction

Ensure deliverable quality

Act as subject matter expert on insurance product knowledge

Work with client/implementation teams to understand and document detailed business and functional application requirements

Develop detailed functional design for developer, QA and implementation teams to leverage

Partner with Dev Lead to monitor development of client applications to ensure adherence to requirement and design specifications

Work with QA staff to review test plans and strategies to ensure compliance with specification and quality end results

Develop training documentation and be able to lead training sessions specific to a client's installation

Lead the formal transition to production and project knowledge to the dedicated customer support resource

Provide remote and on-site support and provide follow-up regarding all issues/requirements

Support Client Services in the development and delivery of weekly project status reports


A BS/BA Degree or equivalent work experience

3-5 years of Business Analyst with insurance industry and product knowledge experience.

Experience with product deployments

Skills/Experience Required:

Experience leading software implementations

Understanding of the software development life cycle

External client facing skills (consulting)

Customer management skills for administration, resolving issues and building customer relationships

Written, verbal communication, listening and problem-solving skills

Responds strongly and positively to challenging work and deadlines

Works as an integral part of a talented team in a fast-paced, proactive environment

Prior insurance experience a plus

Experience using Atlassian/JIRA system a plus

Job Purpose * The Team Lead manages the team that provides functional expertise and support to MRG business customers, including ITIL Service Delivery, Delivery of Continuous Improvement projects and also Template deployment through the team. This role will be part of the MRG BP Team. * Line management of 4 direct reports, creating High Performance Collaboration Environment for associates. * Management of 8 consultatnts across NA and EU region. * Engages with the regional functional business leaders of his/her area to ensure that all business solution initiatives with systems implications are consistent with the overall IT and business strategies across the regions in question, aligned globally for MRG, and Ethel'M. * Works closely with both business leaders and IT teams in the markets to define, develop and deploy business solutions to achieve business goals, based on agreed priorities. Key Responsibilities Main accountabilities * Manage / Lead / Build a High Performing, Lean Team across associates and contractors * Partner with the Business: Tactical and Strategic * Partners with business leaders within a region/globe to identify and define how to improve business performance through the application of technology, optimization of information flow and usage of resources, business processes enhancement. * Provide Support for Fusion (ECC 6.0 Finance, Procurement, Order Management, Production Planning, Inventory Management, Material Management, Sales & Distribution, Global POS System) * Deliver Global CIP Releases across SAP Backend Systems, Oracle Backend Systems in EU, Global Point of Sales Systems and Infrasturcture for each store- as scheduled and provide management escalation and communication of major issues * Provide Support framework for end-to-end solutions architecture for Mars Retail Group and other businesses using Fusion for more than 1000 users. * Ensures the implementation of company policies and guidelines in alignment with local legal requirements, cultural specifics and business practices across all 5 countries globally. * Provide Support for Data Warehouse/Reporting for Mars Retail Group, Ethel'M. * Deliver "value for money" - budget guidelines & cost reductions due to efficiencies * Collaborates with business managers to create clear outcomes, project scope approach, and business case. Education & Professional Qualification Bachelors degree in MIS or Computer Sciences or Equivalent Knowledge/Experience * Broad understanding of a company's business and technology process areas and the ways in which technology may impact and enhance business processes * 5-8 years of experience in relevant business (IT or business function) * Project management skills with familiarity in a variety of tools and techniques * Able to evaluate technology and process alternatives * Excellent written and verbal skills as well as high interpersonal skills * Must be customer focused with demonstrated ability to form productive relationship with a wide constituency, including business leaders, IT personnel and project leaders * Strong problem analysis and influencing skills. * Should have a proven track record of delivering results in the following three areas: Project delivery, Senior Management exposure. * Familiar with ITIL Concept and have at least 2 year experience in Service Delivery * Capable to drive changes in the global working environment * Demonstrate Line Management Capacity * Ability to work effectively in a flexible and changing environment and manage multiple activities and priorities.
