TCI has an immediate need for a Jr. Application Developer/Test Engineer in Fort Knox, KY.
This is not a Corp2Corp opportunity. This is a 6 month contract opportunity with the possibility of hire. In addition to competitive, market-rate based pay, TCI provides all our Consultants with Comprehensive Medical/Dental Insurance, 401k, Life Insurance and Long Term Disability benefits.
Please note that this position requires a current DoD Security Clearance.

The Jr. Application Developer/Test Engineer will work within a software development environment providing automated software testing.
Evaluates, recommends, and implements automated test tools and strategies.
Designs, implements, and conducts test and evaluation procedures to ensure system requirements are met.
Develops, maintains, and upgrades automated test scripts and architectures for application products.
Writes, implements, and reports status for system test cases for testing.
Analyzes test cases and provides regular progress reports.
Serves as subject matter specialist providing testing know-how for the support of user requirements of complex to highly complex software/hardware applications.
Directs and/or participates in all phases of risk management assessments and software/hardware development with emphasis on analysis of user requirements, test design and test tools selection.
Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments.
Plans and leads major technology assignments.
Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success.
May supervise others.
2+ years of experience in a Software Tester role.
Automated software testing experience is required.
Experience with Java and SQL scripts
Must currently possess a valid DoD Secret Security Clearance. TCI will assist with transfers of clearances.

You have a passion for learning new technologies and taking a deeper dive into your understanding of the current technology stack.</p><p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><ul><li>Work with the project manager, business analyst, UI/UX designer, and lead developer to turn the requirements into working, bug-free, code.</li><li>Under general direction, designs, develops, troubleshoots, debugs, and implements software code using Java, JavaScript, HTML, SQL, NoSQL, JSON, and XML for software components of the web applications.</li><li>Integrates web applications with backend databases. Deploys large web-based transaction systems using application servers.
