Job Description

The Account Representative is a key support member of the Home Energy Solutions team. The purpose is to provide account management, trade ally management and technical services for a utility energy efficiency program within the residential sector. The position will be responsible for developing and maintaining a trade ally network to deliver program services throughout Arkansas, assist in developing budgets and energy savings goals for a Trade Ally network, reporting and recordkeeping, and other duties to as assigned to improve and maintain the Home Energy Solutions Program.

What You Will Do

  • This position is responsible for the reviewing, processing and coordination of processing HES projects in timely manner including assigning projects and arranging assistance when needed

  • Performing desktop QAQC review of energy efficiency applications

  • Data entry of applications

  • Responsible for the review and addressing of Exception Reports

  • Lead trainer on processing processes and procedures for ICF staff, trade allies and sub-contractors

  • This position will be the lead for reporting and database management including, but not limited to: prepare decks for regular meeting, prepare monthly reports for TAs including allocation status, burn rate and information as requested by the trade allies or HES team and ensure that complaint log is up to date

  • Building and maintaining relationships with trade allies, sub-contractors and industry associations

  • Maintain regular contact with the trade allies to develop and maintain strong relationships

  • Serve as back up POC to all trade allies

  • Conduct administrative training with HES trade allies, ICF staff and subcontractors on software and tools used to submit projects in the program as needed

  • Providing technical services, and other support. This includes being a subject matter expert as assigned.

  • Lead/Coordinate virtual training of topics subject matter for ICF staff, sub-contractors and trade allies as needed (minimum of twice annually)

  • Stay informed on industry news, updates and training on subject matter

  • Promoting program offerings

  • Analyzing savings from efficiency improvements

  • Maintaining strong ongoing communications with participants in order to assess their needs and to receive feedback on their experience with the program

  • Working with the analytics team to develop new program measures

  • Develop a data driven outreach strategy to recruit and retain new and existing customers to participate in energy efficiency programs

  • Prospect, identify, and qualify potential energy efficiency upgrades for customers

  • Cultivate and develop new business through long-term relationships by ensuring high customer satisfaction with the program

What You Must Have

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering is preferred

  • Experience in Energy Efficiency

  • Demonstrated capabilities in building and maintaining relationships with key market actors

  • Must have valid driver's license and successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check

  • Superior proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)

What We'd Like You To Have

  • Experience and knowledge of residential energy efficiency in Arkansas

  • Experience working in or managing a trade ally network

  • Certified Energy Manager or BPI credentials

  • Excellent math skills

  • Bilingual a plus
