The JPMorgan Investments Products & Advice (IP&A) Performance Statements and Tax Reporting team defines and executes on the strategy for 3 client facing reporting products that impact all 5 million plus investment account holders and drives a budget of approximately 12 million dollars annually spread across 5 distinct technology teams covering 13 scrum teams

The Product Analyst role supports the Performance Statements and Tax product by working closely with the team's area product owners, delivery managers and stakeholders to ensure technical and functional initiative requirements are defined and socialized with key business partners. The product analyst will be responsible for the development of product presentation material to advance the IP&A Performance, Statements & Tax agenda to internal stakeholders and the greater product community.

Primary Responsibilities include

  • Directly support the Performance Statements & Tax Product Owner and act as a key partner to internal IP&A leads and team members as well as key stakeholders and functional partners

  • Own product roadmaps and initiative tracking update process

  • Gather requirements from various workstreams and perform detailed analyses; produce business and technical requirements in the form of epics and stories.

  • Work with technical business associates agility leads, architects and developers to transform requirements into design and implementation

  • Perform quality assurance/UAT testing

  • Step in as needed for issue triage and remediation to ensure consistent production quality.

  • Attend and contribute to all scrum/agile ceremonies


  • Analyst or Associate level

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 1-3 years in financial services industry

  • Proficient to advanced experience with Excel, PowerPoint and Word

  • Self-starter with ability to drive on own

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills with ability to execute on multiple objectives simultaneously in a demanding environment

  • Team-oriented with ability to interact effectively with individuals at varying levels of the organization with varying responsibilities, including compliance, due diligence, legal, marketing, operations, risk, sales and technology


  • Experience in a wealth management organization

  • Experience in financial reporting

Review the numbers that are used for generating management and regulatory reports.</li><li>Assist Backtest team when required models</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p><ul><li>Minimum 3-5 years of relative experience, ideally in risk analytics, model validation, model performance monitoring or front office quantitative modeling.</li><li>A Ph.D. or a master’s degree in quantitative finance, economics, or other quantitative fields</li><li>Prior experience on quantitative modeling is helpful and the candidate should have a general knowledge about the financial market, products, risk metrics and VaR modeling /back testing approaches.</li><li>Strong programing skills in languages such as SQL, Python, R, SAS, Access, VBA, etc. Knowing C++ is a plus.</li><li>Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills and possess ability to work in an efficient and organized way, both independently and within a team.</li><li>Motivated and have a sense of accountability and ownership.
