We are currently seeking a skilled Journeyman Pump Mechanic to join our team and work with one of our reputable clients in the oil and gas industry. Job Summary: As a Journeyman Pump Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of pumps used in the oil and gas industry. You will work closely with our client's team to ensure all pumps are functioning efficiently and safely. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for growth and advancement within the company. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of pumps, including centrifugal, reciprocating, and submersible pumps

• Troubleshoot and diagnose pump issues, and develop effective solutions

• Disassemble and reassemble pumps, inspecting and replacing worn or damaged parts as needed

• Utilize hand and power tools, as well as specialized equipment, to complete repairs and maintenance tasks

• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment

• Keep accurate records of all work performed, including maintenance logs and repair records

• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure timely completion of tasks

• Assist with training and mentoring junior mechanics as needed Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent

• Completion of a recognized apprenticeship program or equivalent experience as a Journeyman Pump Mechanic

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with pumps in the oil and gas industry

• Strong understanding of pump systems, including hydraulic and mechanical principles

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics

• Proficiency with hand and power tools, as well as specialized equipment

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment and lift up to 50 pounds
