Summary

We're seeking a journeyman plumber that would be willing to obtain the master license within 2 years, in order to be able to utilize the contractor license for Spectrum Health.

Communicates and collaborates with the supervisor, customer, and other trades and sub-contractors to ensure quality, timely, cost effective maintenance with continuity and coordination of services
Performs comprehensive plumbing maintenance including the assembly, installation, and repair of pipes, fittings, and fixtures for systems such as heating, cooling, water, sprinkler, drainage and sanitary systems according to specifications and plumbing codes. Measures, cuts, threads and installs pipes and fittings using hand and power tools.
Documents procedures and work completed in an accurate and timely manner.
Ensures proper care, maintenance and safe use of equipment and supplies and keep work areas orderly, clean and safe.
Performs plumbing construction work including layout, demolition and construction of all types of plumbing systems.
Ensures that all plumbing services are provided in accordance with legal specifications, plumbing codes, organizational policy, and compliance requirements.
Plans and coordinates work flow with other trades and acts as resource related to plumbing systems.

We have immediate opening for a Tool and Die Journeyman on 3rd Shift.JOB SCOPE AND SUMMARY: The Tool and Die Journeyman will perform tooling preventative maintenance, in-house polishing, welding, machining, spotting and benching. Tracks all tooling in and out, updates production control and process manager on time schedules for the completion of repairs or projects. Participates in meetings for improvements on production quality standards, efficiencies, and automation of product lines.WORK TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Performs all in-house die polishing and bench work. 2. Maintains a preventative maintenance program on all tools. Keeps a thorough and accurate history on each tool. 3. Performs mold cleaning, lubrication, and proper mold identification to Lacks tooling standards. 4. Maintains parting line, quality and surface polish. 5. Maintains and tracks all mold components. 6. Maintains inventory stock of tool room supplies and mold components. 7. Works with scheduling and manufacturing on time tables of job completion for production start up time. 8. Attends meetings to enhance job quality, performance and automation. 9. Gives daily reports and work time log on all work performed. 10. Performs electrical repairs on tools, such as wiring hot runners and repairing limit switches. 11. Completes required hydraulic repairs on tools. 12. Repairs trim presses and ring presses. 13. Works with engineering to institute engineering changes to tools. 14. Maintains good housekeeping in work area. 15. Structures and provides a training program for technicians and die setters on simple tool repair. 16. Performs other tasks assigned by designated supervisor.SUPERVISION: Guidance and direction are provided by the process manager. There is a dotted line responsibility to the supervisor and plant manager.JOB SPECIFICATIONS: 1.
