Journeyman Plumber

Job Description Job Description Plumbers Local Union 68 is a proud member of the United Association, dedicated to providing quality plumbing services and top-tier training to its members. We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Journeyman Plumber to join our union in the houston area, with a high hourly wage of $39.98 per hour plus benefits Key Responsibilities : Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fittings, and fixtures, for water distribution and waste disposal.

Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and building specifications. Ensure plumbing systems comply with local plumbing codes. Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors on job sites.

Troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing issues, offering effective solutions. Provide mentorship and guidance to apprentices and junior plumbers. Keep work area clean and organized, following all safety protocols and OSHA regulations.

Complete work orders and time sheets accurately and on time. Qualifications : Must be a licensed Journeyman Plumber with experience in the plumbing field. Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and tools.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
