The Journeyman Plumber performs skilled technical work in the installation, repair, replacement, and maintenance of domestic water systems, heating water systems, sanitary sewer systems, storm sewers, gas pipe (both threaded and fusion welded), steam and condensate pipes, and fire protection systems in all University structures and grounds following recognized procedures and techniques of the plumbing trade. The Journeyman Plumber maintains the heating, water, gas and plumbing systems using hand and power tools such as sewer auger or vacuum plunger, acetylene torch, soldering and welding equipment, sewer camera, pipe locator, and related plumbing tools. The Journeyman Plumber also practices preventive maintenance of plumbing tools and equipment, and complies with federal regulations governing environmental protection, hazardous waste disposal and the use of chemical substances and materials common to the plumbing trade. The Journeyman Plumber monitors and reports maintenance issues needing attention to the appropriate authority.

In this role you must be thoroughly familiar with Intelligence Community and Department of Defense Physical Security policies and directives. The position is responsible for managing and overseeing the SCIF and Collateral Area lifecycle from concept to completion for numerous government and contractor facilities. This includes planning, construction, operation/management, and mission conclusion. Candidate will review and assess physical security accreditation documentation and provide recommendations to senior government officials.</p><p>What You'll Be Doing:</p><ul><li><p>Conduct facility inspections and provide recommendations to accredit and de-accredit Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs), both CONUS and OCONUS, in accordance with Intelligence Community Directive 705</p></li><li><p>Conduct facility inspections to verify the physical security standards for the protection of Collateral information</p></li><li><p>Manage and oversee the SCIF and Collateral Area lifecycle from concept to completion for numerous government and contractor facilities. This includes planning, construction, operation and management, and mission conclusion</p></li><li><p>Draft, review, and maintain internal NGA policy documents, standard operating procedures, and instructional handouts pertaining to Physical and Industrial Security</p></li><li><p>Review and prepare SCIF accreditation paperwork to include Fixed Facility Checklists, Emergency Action Plans, Standard Operating Procedures and Concept Requests</p></li><li><p>Track all accredited entity SCIFs in the Intelligence Community SCIF database</p></li><li><p>Coordinate with other Intelligence Community members to create policy and regulations as they relate to Physical Security and SCIF construction</p></li><li><p>Conduct Physical Security Training, to include both SCIF and Collateral facility construction requirements, to alternate security personnel</p></li><li><p>Manage all aspects of security to include project milestones and life cycle plans to ensure a secure mission environment</p></li><li><p>Interpret security policy on matters pertaining to processing, dissemination, and controlling of classified materials</p></li><li><p>Analyze complex security issues and provide program management with cost-effective recommendations that meet policy requirements</p></li><li><p>Conduct comprehensive Risk Management surveys and render impact statements</p></li><li><p>Escort uncleared visitors in facilities to ensure compliance with security directives</p></li></ul><p>What Required Skills You'll Bring:</p><ul><li><p>Bachelor's Degree with relevant experience</p></li><li><p>Active TS/SCI with ability to complete Polygraph examination</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of: ICD-705 Tech Spec, National Industrial Security Program Manual, DoD Information Security and SCI policies and regulations, and Committee on National Security Systems publications, and provide general guidance of TEMPEST concepts and requirements</p></li></ul><p>What Desired Skills You'll Bring:</p><ul><li><p>Experience with Identity Data Management Policies, Directives, and Instructions</p></li><li><p>Assist in conducting Due Diligence (DD) assessments in accordance with DoD policies</p></li></ul><p>Minimum Clearance Required to Start:</p><p>Top Secret SCI</p><p>This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.</p><p>Our Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
