Journeyman Plumber

Job Description

Knowledge of plumbing repairs, maintenance, and installation techniques

Knowledge of plumbing codes

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and written reference material

Ability to perform mathematical calculations

Ability to diagnose and resolve problems

Ability to use hand and power tools

Experience:

Five years' experience in plumbing field

Maintenance and Repair

1.Assemble, install, maintain, and pressure test all pipes, fittings, and fixtures of process, heating, water, drainage, sprinkler, and gas systems according to specifications and plumbing codes.

2.Determine sources of plumbing malfunctions and complete repairs as indicated or according to work orders.

3.Install and repair pipes, fittings, valves, fixtures, and plumbing system equipment, including sinks, commodes, water heaters, water softeners, etc.

4.Receive and complete work orders.

5.Select material and hardware and make time and materials estimates.

6.Maintain accurate records on material and labor used.

7.Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and materials.

8.Inspect jobs upon completion and ensure areas are clean.

9.Detect needed repairs on buildings, grounds, and equipment following established inspection procedures.



  1. Respond to emergency calls as needed.

Safety



  1. Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment.

  2. Operate tools and equipment according to established safety procedures.

  3. Ensure that equipment is in safe operating condition.

  4. Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties including lifting, climbing, etc.

  5. Correct unsafe conditions in work area and report any conditions that are not correctable to supervisor immediately.


Other Duties as Assigned



  1. Other duties could include working in other areas of the maintenance department to provide support during absences or shortage of staff in other trades or to perform duties associated with light construction projects.

  2. Requires flexibility and understanding that all maintenance staff may be required to perform duties outside their normal area of expertise to meet the mission and goals of the Facility Services Department.

None.

Hand and power tools; pipe bender; propane torch; welding equipment and sewer rooter

Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:

Continual walking, standing, climbing, stooping, bending, kneeling, reaching, and heavy lifting and carrying. Work around chemicals. Exposure to extreme temperatures.

Overview The Leader, Wholesale Plumber Engineer Partnerships will help drive the overall sales activity and strategy, for local market wholesale and plumbing partners. <br><br> Reporting to the &quot;Sr. Market Leader&quot;, the person in this role will collaborate with key internal stakeholders across all business functions and teams to drive product awareness, service, drive job specifications, inventory, and execute growth driving sales strategies across all LWTA product categories and brands. Responsibilities Identify, pursue, and increase sales and brand loyalty by calling on wholesale, plumbing, and engineer partners and targets. <br><br> Relationship Development - Services, maintains, and increases existing business by building and cultivating professional, progressive, and trusted relationships with our customers. Engage with customer in the development of joint business plans to drive customer profitability; displace competitive brands; and develop and lead the business review with customers Own local market wholesale, plumber, engineer relationships. Negotiate rebate structures and purchase agreements and drive new product specifiations Removing obstacles to sales success, building processes and tools to assist sales, defining wholesale partners and securing success by managing and servicing partnerships on a daily basis. <br><br> Develop, execute and monitor business plans, that includes forecasting sales and profit targets, identification of product potential and gaps, and displacement of competitive brands, to effectively achieve individual and team financial targets that drive sustainable growth Assist with coordination and attend trade shows in regions. Work closely with the local, regional, and national teams to convert new distribution and follow up on engineering leads Manage own sales budget and maintains discipline to stay within assigned sales and expense budgets on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
