Job Summary:

Under minimal supervision, the Journey Painter Lead performs a variety of skilled painting tasks within the Painting trade in the application of paint to a variety of surfaces with brush, roller and spray gun. Independently determines correct methods of application and selection of proper materials. Assists Foreman and Assistant Foreman with limited supervisory duties.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Applies primers, paints, lacquers, varnishes, scalers, fillers and stains to interior and exterior of buildings and surfaces.

  • Cleans materials to be painted by use of sandpaper, scrappers, sanding machines and dusters.

  • Washes and prepares surfaces for painting, staining or sealing.

  • Mixes and matches paint and stain using the proper proportions of tint, base and thinner.

  • Performs taping to drywall surfaces.

  • Prepares, cuts and hangs wall coverings.

  • Organizes and supervises small trade work crews, including contracted labor.

  • Evaluates completed work for quality and neatness.

  • Performs limited supervisory administrative duties.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable skills can be acquired.

  • Five (5) or more years of work experience in interior and exterior painting at the journeyman level.

  • Must join Laborers Local 681 after one month of employment.

  • Must provide dependable personal vehicle and purchase University parking permit (Evanston Campus).

Minimum Competencies: (Skills, knowledge, and abilities.)

  • Thorough knowledge of the tools, application methods and standard trade safety practices.

  • Complete knowledge of the proper handling, mixing and disposal of toxic or potentially hazardous materials.

  • Must have good written & oral communications & listening skills.

  • Physical ability to climb and descend ladders work on scaffolding lift or other support apparatus and to work. in cramped quarters. Dexterity is necessary for the use of tools and manipulation of materials.

  • Receptive to feedback, willing to learn, embracing of continuous improvement.

  • Helpful, respectful, approachable, collaborative, team oriented.

  • Ability to build strong working relationships and a positive work environment.

  • Integrates health and safety precautions into daily activities.

Preferred Qualifications:
(Education and experience)

  • Past supervisory experience.

  • Proficiency with mobile devices including iOS.

  • Proficiency with software programs including Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook; Kronos; CMMS systems.

ACCOUNT-BASED MARKETING LEAD We are seeking an experienced marketing professional to join our Evanston, IL office as an Account-Based Marketing (ABM) Lead. The ABM Lead is responsible for the development, implementation, management, and measurement of targeted, account-focused marketing programs and activities with ZS's top clients. The individual will work closely with account team leaders (sales) and various marketing resources to create and implement highly customized campaigns to develop and expand client relationships, drive and accelerate new business and increase loyalty and retention among a targeted set of clients. Responsibilities: * Primary liaison between account teams and ZS marketing, partnering with all stakeholders to create comprehensive, account-based marketing plans for a specific set of strategic accounts. * Understand industry and business drivers facing each account, as well as key initiatives they are focused on and the key stakeholders responsible for them. * Define and manage budget allocation for account-based marketing programs. * Create compelling value propositions for key personas. * Leverage data and insights to inform client teams of client interest and perceived intent. * Create and execute integrated marketing campaigns for selected accounts using tactics that include thought leadership, live events, email, webinars, digital advertising, and social networking, among others. * Ensure that all marketing campaigns are aligned with the corporate vision, themes, and brand guidelines. * Measure the effectiveness of efforts, adjust approach as needed. Present outcomes to client account teams regularly. * Share best practices with other ABM marketers. Work with team leadership to build a repeatable, scalable ABM model. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business. MBA a plus. * 5-7+ years in B2B marketing and solution marketing experience; field marketing or account-based marketing positions preferred * Demonstrated skill collaborating with client-facing account team members, including senior leaders within a highly matrixed organization. * Excellent communication skills. Ability to work with cross-functional teams and interact with internal and client executives. * Solid experience creating and executing integrated marketing campaigns in a B2B environment. * Ability to gather data/insights from multiple internal and external sources to understand impact across accounts and opportunities. * Experience with marketing automation and social media monitoring platforms (HubSpot, Marketo, Brandwatch Radian6, 6sense, Demandbase, etc.) a plus. * Goal-oriented and collaborative with the ability to take initiative and deliver projects unsupervised. Exceptional organizational project and people management skills with attention to detail. * Flexibility to work across time zones, including early-morning US hours to interact with global team based in India. * Approximately 20-25% travel. * Industry experience with pharmaceutical and health care sectors a plus.
