Work Schedule: Weekends, Saturday & Sunday, 7pm-7:30am and Monday & Tuesday, 11pm-7:30am
Ideal candidate will have a Journeyman/master electrician license and healthcare experience.
The primary purpose of the Electrician position is to provide skilled electrical work of the journeyman level in installation, alteration, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, fixtures, and equipment. This position impacts the entire Institution's electrical functionality. Responsible for carrying out skilled tasks in accordance with standard practices of the trade and Institutional specifications. Oversee the quality and production of all electrical work.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Interprets and works from instructions, blueprints, sketches and diagrams in the installation of electrical systems. Estimates cost of work and may order materials and maintain inventory. Performs a variety of electrical work. May coordinate the workflow of technicians and mechanics. Investigates outages.
JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES
Ensure Proper Functioning of Electrical Systems and Maintain O&M Warehouse Inventory
Maintain an Efficient Response to Work Orders and Provide Support to Other Crafts
Assist in keeping accurate and up-to-date information on Inspection Reports and Punch Lists •Performs PM's on assigned assets, recording data accurately and noting follow-up work required.
Maintain Critical Alarm Systems
Other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or equivalent. One year of post-journeyman experience in commercial/industrial electrical work involving interior and exterior wiring and the repair of electrical equipment and systems. Licensed as a journeyman electrician or Master electrician in the State of Texas.
