Responsibilities

AAA Complete Building Services (CBS) seeks a full-time Journeyman Electricians to support a Tier 3 Data Center in Manassas, VA. The Journeyman Electrician should have a minimum of four (4) years of experience working as a journeyman electrician in a facility of similar size and type. Within the past seven (7) years, they should have gained comprehensive knowledge in inspecting and repairing electrical equipment used for the generation, distribution, or utilization of electric energy. All shifts available.

• Troubleshoot, install and repair electrical devices and components

• Read and interpret schematics and wire diagrams

• Knowledgeable in AM and FM transmission and reception

• Utilize multimeters and oscilloscopes

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance

• Install and repair power distribution systems and cables

• Configure control systems

• Familiar with Programmable Logic Controllers

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Must be on-site during assigned hours

• Must be available to respond to on-site emergencies

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass and maintain US Capitol Police background check

• Must possess and maintain an active VA Master Electrician license

• OSHA 30

• Data center equipment i.e. CRAC units, Remote Power Panels (RPP), PDU's, Switchgear

• Must possess at least (4) four years of Journeyman Level experience (obtained within the past 7 years)

• Demonstrate a high degree of proficiency in Building Operations

• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Possess professional demeanor

• Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
