We are looking to hire an experienced, state certified electrician who can install and repair electrical systems, working primarily in commercial buildings and data centers. Your duties will include installing, troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems such as; lighting, controls, transformers, distribution, panel boards, conduit, and other standard electrical devices.
As the project demands, you should be able to operate power tools and follow safety regulations. You must be skilled in the following; conduit bending, cabling pulling/terminations, switchgear assembly, troubleshooting, plan set reading, rough-in of power and devices, testing of electrical systems. As an electrician, you must follow specific design, installation, repair and safety procedures and regulations.
Ultimately, you should be able to apply technical knowledge in a safe manner and address any standard issues. Responsibilities Install, maintain and repair electrical systems and components in buildings, using a variety of techniques (e.g. replace fuses, connect wires, troubleshoot circuits etc.). Install, maintain and repair wiring, components and fixtures in commercial or industrial buildings. Install circuit breakers and electrical control panels.
Read blueprints and layouts to determine layout of wiring. Install, repair and maintain electrical sockets, switches, lighting fixtures etc. Need to be able to run a small crew of electricians with respect and safety in mind.
