Responsible for routine electrical maintenance, customer power deployment/removal, troubleshooting/repair of electrical infrastructure, and emergency response to support data center operations. Knowledgeable in standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the data center environment including high density power, cooling, and networking infrastructure. Assist Master Electrician with higher level tasks. Reports to the Facility Manager.
Install and remove customer power services
Maintain electrical infrastructure
Monitor facility electrical systems and respond to events using Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
Respond to electrical emergencies at facilities outside of normal schedule
Solve problems using analytical, technical, and organizational skills
Assist Facilities team members in the performance of daily and emergency requirements
Understand, perform and document maintenance method of procedures (MOPs) and emergency operating procedures (EOPs)
Read, comprehend and interpret blue prints
Other duties related to your capabilities, assigned on an as-needed basis
Journeyman electrical license
Adherence to safety rules and guidelines at all times
Strong computing and documentation skills and Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
