Wave Broadband is currently searching for a Joint Pole Administrator in our Newport, OR office. This position is responsible for ensuring quality and timely deliveries of our fiber services to customers. This position will be responsible maintaining all utility pole attachment and conduit lease databases along with the ongoing exchange of required documents between the company and external shared structural ownership and leasing agencies
The primary position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Assists in review and makes recommendations surrounding JU contracts with all utilities.
Assists with submitting permits for all new attachments through various pole owners using NESC and/or Pole owner guidelines.
Works with Joint Use Administrator II or III to close out outstanding violations and pole work needed by various pole owners.
Keeps records of all poles attached to by pole owner for weekly reporting requirements.
Update RT ticketing systems as required
Work with joint pole/pole owner and other 3rd parties to alleviate issues with pole contacts past and future
Assist in processing Pole Attachment Permits including field verification inspections for new attachments, running pole loading calculations, determining compliance and making sure all information is correct for submission.
Adhering to timelines associated with all application/notices received per contracts by pole owner.
Assist with additions, deletions, and changes of Joint Pole Application data and tracking those changes.
Assist with entering and maintaining all utility notifications, inspection tickets and other pole infractions in the database system as well as assisting to bring closure to tickets.
Assist with maintaining database for poles QC'd for PUC reporting
Fostering great relations with pole owners and other joint users of poles for quick resolve to issues, MR's needed, or applications being held up

Basic understanding of structural ownership or leasing
College degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Ability to think creatively and strategically
Must have strong written and verbal communication and collaboration skills and demonstrated ability to successfully inform other business functions, engineering teams, executive management, customers and vendors
Ability to adhere to local, federal regulations and company policies
Valid driver's license, auto insurance, with a satisfactory driving record
