The RN shall render direct, pre-operative, and intraoperative nursing care to patients under the supervision of the Nurse Managers or other assigned leaders, as well as to serve as a leader of a team engaged in giving nursing care. This individual shall participate in quality improvement, in-services, customer service, and have a clear understanding of the principles of aseptic technique, where applicable. This position may have additional duties assigned as needed.

• Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's degree preferred. Membership in AORN encouraged.
  
  One year operating room experience required for MSC position. License / Certification required: Valid AL RN license required, BLS required, ACLS required within 6 months of hire, CNOR preferred Ability to work from broad directions and be self motivated.
  
  Ability to prioritize workload to achieve maximum efficiency. Ability to effectively communicate with people of various backgrounds throughout the organization. Ability to provide a positive customer service experience to guest, visitors, and patients. Knowledge of HIPAA standards and regulations.
