Job Summary

Applicants will apply their knowledge of JASSM targeting, weaponeering and modeling processes; applicable Intelligence Community resources and operational Air Force unit procedures to improve, standardize and evaluate (STANEVAL) JASSM TAM operations. Applicants will assist with the development, refinement and integration of JASSM TAM tasking, production, and dissemination workflow management procedures; targeting and data product outputs; and the definition /evaluation of operational unit information accesses and procedures to acquire relevant data.

Extensive knowledge of AF JASSM missile parameters, Precision Targeting Module (PTM) and JASSM Enterprise Management System (JEMS) operating systems and weapon system routing and visualization capabilities is required. Knowledge of NTM imaging systems and tasking procedures and National Geospatial Agency imagery delivery systems (NGDS, CIL, NIL, iStore, etc.) is also required. Previous experience in AF STANEVAL is highly desired.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field (e.g. Engineering, Intelligence Analysis) and 4 years JASSM experience or twelve (12) years of AF targeting-related operational experience inclusive of tactical aircraft operations, targeting or weaponeering experience is required. This includes last ten (10) years, four (4) years of demonstrated JASSM experience.

  • Excellent analytical skills, problem solving ability, attention to detail, and verbal/written communication skills are essential.

Required Security Clearance : A TS/SCI security clearance is required to perform these duties.

The selected applicant will support the DHS Spectrum Efficient National Surveillance Radar (SENSR) Joint Program Office (JPO) Lead Agency Representative (LAR) by providing unique and critical skills to the DHS team. The selected candidate will: * Demonstrate excellent oral and written skills to prepare written reports and provide briefings and recommendations to senior leaders regarding surveillance system performance and related issues * Prepare other documentation (general correspondence, memorandums, standard operating procedures, agendas, emails, ect.) * Represent DASA to other organizations, including functional counterparts such as DHS Science and Technology, other federal agencies, industry partners, and academia * Identify, elevate, manage, and resolve issues surrounding surveillance detection * Help investigate, evaluate, and analyses surveillance system performance, including associated interface equipment, data processors, and communications components * Monitor Domain Awareness (DA) system performance and analyze trends using established qualitative and quantitative measures * Assist in developing mitigation strategies for radio frequency interference * Conduct Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA), Critical Path Analysis, and other associated schedule analysis activities * Coordinate between multiple federal agencies and departments to obtain resolutions to system-related issues. * Support system acquisitions, optimizations and Command and Control (C2) integration efforts and activities * Research new and upcoming surveillance technologies through quantitative and qualitative analysis to provide recommendations on paths forward * Plan, execute, and analyze statistical studies * Design and develop measures of performance and effectiveness * Perform trade-off analysis and make recommendations for deviations to approved plans A bachelor's degree and five or more (5+) years of experience is required. Security Clearance: A CBP BI and an active DoD secret clearance is required to start.
