Joel Barlow High School: Long-Term Substitute Latin Teacher

Available: Immediate opening for a long-term substitute Latin teaching position to extend through the end of the current school year.

Salary & Benefits: In accordance with the Joel Barlow Education Association's bargaining unit agreement. No benefits.

Ideal Candidate Possesses:

• Appropriate CT teaching certification, World Language (Latin) 7-12

• Experience in teaching Latin language and culture

• Strong understanding of the developmental needs of adolescents

• Strong knowledge base in discipline

• Motivation to meet the diverse needs of high school learners

• Enthusiasm for teaching and learning
