The Jobber Inventory Analyst functions as the Inventory Control administrator for Ozark Sales and maintains Inventory Control applications. The Analyst will also assist with pricing and inventory control needs related to the department and its affiliates while managing incoming calls and ensuring inquiry resolutions.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Maintain an open line of communication with Parts City affiliates and the sales management team on all aspects of inventory control related to the efficiency and profitability of O'Reilly/Ozark Automotive and its affiliates.
Manage the day to day operations of the Parts City inventory control department
Use integrated inventory management software to identify and maintain appropriate Parts City store inventories.
Perform statistical analysis of SKUs based on customer sales history, market area, competitive situations, industry trends, and customer expectations.
Coordinate recommended stocking level changes with store owners, managers and jobber District Sales Managers.
Establish and maintain relationships with the O'Reilly Inventory Control team to monitor upcoming projects, new product information and identify new department processes to improve our own.
Complete annual or special request line reviews for all Parts City affiliate stores.
Manage store stocking levels by line/product line for Parts City affiliates.
Coordinate new store orders, recalls, and planogram updates.
Assist in Ozark Sales and Acquisition department functions.
Participate in project planning meetings and communicate changeover related information to other members of the department as well as Parts City affiliates.
Travel to potential Parts City store affiliates to identify inventory needs and store layout changes in conjunction with a store changeover.
Travel to store changeover to participate in store inventory and product install. (Travel required 10-12 weeks per year.)
Perform all other duties as assigned.
SKILLS/EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Must be able to lift and carry 20/40/60 pounds occasionally
1-year previous experience with auto parts
Experience in data and number analysis
Excellent customer services skills
Desired:
Associate degree in a computer related field
Experience in the automotive aftermarket
Extensive help support experience
Proficiency in Excel, MS Access, VBA, SQL
