The Job Costing Analyst role is part of the Milestone Global Talent Acquisition and HR teams, primarily responsible for administering and maintaining competitive compensation data. The position serves as a subject matter expert to key internal stakeholders on fundamental compensation analysis and comparative talent market assessments
To be successful in this role, significant experience with compensation data management and reporting, comfort performing basic analytics in Excel, highly confident attention to detail and data organization, general ability to work in a high stress environment, influence stakeholders and navigate ambiguity are critically important. This position often works independently as a business partner to internal and external stakeholders.
Administer, maintain and support global compensation job pricing requests and related procedures, involving base pay, compensation survey management, talent market comp analysis, ad-hoc job analysis for all types of projects globally.
Consistently and accurately match incoming job specifications for RFPs, SOWs and renewals against standard market data. Reference and update data library with competitive data submission.
Note anomalies, trends, and outliers in job pricing data for client proposals
Prepare summary of findings for RFPs, SOWs, and renewals
Assist in monitoring and updating ongoing global pay trends
Assist in reviewing and recommending salary placements for new hires, internal transfers and promotions
Maintain compensation data integrity in SharePoint, ADP and/or other HRIS
Consult internal and external stakeholders on local market compensation expectations, industry best practices and compliance demands for all countries where Milestone operates.
Collaborate and innovate proactively with talent acquisition to, improve compensation job pricing procedures.
Bachelor's in business administration or other discipline involving the intersection of people and statistics
2+ years' experience as Compensation Analyst in a mid- sized global organization in a role acquiring and requiring demonstrable expertise in Compensation
Intermediate skills required to manage, analyze and report data using Excel, SharePoint, and payroll, talent management, human capital systems
Proven ability to focus on details, organize & track data, and deliver high-quality, accurate results
Proven ability to adapt and overcome challenges by staying engaged, understand a business model and its operations to effectively recommend and implement total rewards programs
Proven expertise in effectively managing competing priorities and deadlines to ensure consistent on-time response to stakeholder queries
