We have an immediate need for a full-time Job Coach / Production Supervisor to supervise, coach, coordinate, and instruct adults with developmental disabilities in a warehouse/packaging/assembly atmosphere. Trains and supports individuals with disabilities in engaging in work opportunities and person-centered program goals and activities by instructing, monitoring and providing feedback while the certified worker performs the task, or performing the task with the worker, if needed. Prepares work by moving products by hand or cart, explaining customer orders and procedures to complete the job, checking assembly quality, tracking pieces completed and entering data, ensuring completed work is processed through production.

RATE: $15.50/hour (No late nights or weekends!!)

Hours: M - F 7:30AM - 4:00PM

Requirements

Education:High School or GED required. Post High School education preferred.

Experience: Prior experience in production, job set-ups, workflow processes, documentation, recordkeeping. 1+ years of supervisory experience. Quality control experience and experience working with adults with developmental disabilities preferred.

Certifications/Licenses: CPR and First Aid, CPI (to be obtained within the first 6 months of hire).

Pre-Employment Tests: Pre-employment drug screen. Physical capacity testing.

Computer Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. QuickBooks, Kronos experience preferred

Background Checks: Must pass criminal background check, various State and Federal registry checks, credit history check, DCFS Abuse and Neglect Tracking System check.

Driving: Must pass driving history check and Company policy criteria (i.e., maintain valid drivers license, and be 21 or older to drive). Company travel using personal insured vehicle is required. Occasionally drives personal vehicle between work sites.

Oversees production audits and maintains the daily applications of the Quality Assurance program of the Company. Manages warehouse, Supervisors, Warehouse Assistant/Driver, Shipping/ Receiving employees, and volunteers. Works with Employment Coordinator to ensure proper placement of Certified Workers. Works with Sales Staff to provide data for customer estimates and quotes. Assists Executive Director as required.</p><p>Duties include preventative and light maintenance, purchasing of supplies, and providing completed job information to Finance for billing.</p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p>High School or GED required. Post High School education preferred.</p><p>5 years’ experience in manual production. With a basic knowledge of machines and tools, including their design, use, repair, and maintenance. Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods. 3+ years supervisory experience. Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.</p><p>Forklift certification (<i>have or obtain certification within 1 month of starting</i>).
