Duties and Responsibilities:
To accurately complete, sign and submit timesheets to my supervisor each pay period. I also understand this is a condition of employment and after two consecutive time periods (1 month) of not submitting timesheets, I could be terminated from my position.
Welcome and assist JMU VALOR students - greet as guests enter, provide friendly assistance and guidance as needed.
Maintain JMU VALOR Resource Center - ensure the center is kept clean and organized. Walk the entire space several times per shift to check on guests and keep space organized and clean.
Inventory - keep track of supplies such as office materials, refreshments, communication pamphlets, and replenish as needed.
Administrative support - assist staff with administrative tasks such as filling out paperwork for access, scheduling appointments, and updating JMU VALOR student database.
Event coordination - assist in the planning and execution of events and workshops hosted by JMU VALOR. This includes set up, clean up, and logistics coordination.
Promote JMU VALOR - actively promote resources both in-person and on social media.
