JM Lexus - Body Shop Apprentice

This entry-level Body Shop Apprentice position within the JM Lexus Body Shop offers a unique opportunity to gain comprehensive exposure to various aspects of body repair and paint. The apprentice will work closely with seasoned mentors to develop foundational skills and knowledge in automotive bodywork.

Responsibilities:

• Assist mentors in all facets of body repair tasks.

• Learn and apply techniques for assessing vehicle damage and determining appropriate repair methods.

• Support in the preparation and application of corrosion protection.

• Aid in the disassembly and reassembly of vehicle components as needed for repairs.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to uphold safety and efficiency standards.

• Adhere to established protocols and guidelines for quality assurance.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Strong interest in automotive repair and mechanics.

• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team.

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies.

• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.

• Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy objects as required in a workshop environment.
