About the opportunity

The Business Analyst engages as a proactive partner within the institution's end user community, namely in the areas of reporting, assessments, instructional technology, institutional research. We are focused on enabling our customers to have a great experience when using Jenzabar products. To that end, we embody a mindset of continuous improvement as we act as the single source of truth on ERP systems deployed, help to optimize day-to-day operational execution to improve customer service & delivery, guide business process innovation, and drive transformational initiatives.

Business Analysts are customer facing resources that provide expert advice on learning data as it relates to teaching and learning. We partner with the College to deliver high quality, innovative, and effective analytics to formulate relevant research questions, use data to inform decision making, and set goals and strategic direction. Internal, external, and trended data will be used to improve course development. The Business Analyst works collaboratively within the Ellucian Institutional Services team to develop materials that equip the College with the data and reporting they need to make data-driven decisions about the student learning experience.

Where you will make an impact

  • Work with College stakeholders to manage expectations and complete ERP projects.

  • Provide leadership, direction and oversight for the analysis, configuration, implementation and maintenance of the colleges enterprise level administrative systems, including but not limited to Jenzabar as numerous 3rd-party software solutions.

  • Plan and design the ERP capabilities in order to meet desired organizational objectives.

  • Provide leadership and coordination of remote programming and reporting resources.

  • Provide Jenzabar ERP Application Management and Support. The application and server support includes: the management of Jenzabar production and test environments, the accommodation of special requests by the Jenzabar functional owners to implement new functionality and to test patches, upgrades and releases in a timely manner. Resolve problems and to comply with continuously changing federal and state reporting or compliance requirements.

  • Provide support and management for Jenzabar ICS.

  • Analyzing and documenting functional and/or system requirements

  • Coordinate and manage this ERP support with appropriate depth of expertise to maintain a high level of support for Jenzabar services to the University.

  • Support for a number of ancillary applications.

What you will bring

  • Solid organizational skills, ability to work with staff, faculty, and administration at all skill and management levels.

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or 5-7 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 5+ years working for higher education institutions.

  • Strong Project Management skills

  • Varied and strong technical background that would include implementation of higher education administrative systems or business management systems.

  • Specific understanding of industry trends and standards required.

  • Strong end user orientation.

  • Strong work ethic,

  • Must be a team player and strong on collaboration.

  • Sound strategic thinking skills and ability to work with client senior management team in an effective manner.

  • Infomaker, Crystal Reports and SSRS experience a plus

  • Solid functional and technical knowledge of the Jenzabar EX ERP system

  • Solid functional and technical knowledge of MS SQL

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

  • Hands on experience and in-depth knowledge of data feeds, extracts, and Jenzabar reporting solutions.

  • Experience with leadership and coordination of assurance that data integrity and application security best practices are followed

We connect, communicate and train internal employees to ensure we all understand the science behind our medicine. The Regional Health Systems Medical Affairs Director (R-HS MAD) is a therapeutic, disease, population health and health systems expert who develops on-going professional relationships with healthcare decision makers within a regional territory across key payer and provider organizations (e.g., health plans, Pharmacy Benefits Managers (PBMs), IDS, Medicaid, employers and employer coalitions). The R-HS MAD provides accurate information across our full Company product portfolio, clinical science, and quality management in a balanced and credible manner consistent with the regulatory environment and our Company's ethical standards. Through a deep understanding of the accounts' population health strategies, serves as the medical account manager, collaborating and coordinating with other Medical Affairs colleagues and select commercial roles, to bring relevant health care solutions to these accounts. The R-HS MAD is the sole Company role working with both provider and payer regional accounts, linking the main functions within the health care delivery system in their territory. Serves as a resource for the United States Medical Affairs (USMA) management team on health systems within territory. Primary Responsibilities: * Develops ongoing professional relationships with key decision makers in regional organized health systems, serving as the primary medical contact to ensure access to medical and scientific information on our full Company product portfolio, pipeline, and areas of therapeutic interest, as well as non-product initiatives and areas of focus (e.g., quality management, outcomes research, adherence). * Partners with the Managed Markets & Policy (MM&P) and Integrated Delivery System (IDS) account management teams to develop strategic account plans and associated medical account plans and then ensures execution of medical activities aligned with agreed plan. * Serves as the primary resource for market dynamics within territory to fully understand evolving information needs by decision makers to feed into the ongoing value-proposition development process for Company offerings - product and non-product. * Leads medical account management and planning with associated medical affairs functions for regional accounts and markets. * Effectively communicates and coordinates with Therapeutic Area (TA) Regional Medical Scientific Directors (RMSD) regarding medical and scientific support needs in relevant health systems accounts. * Serves as the internal medical subject matter expert for each regional account, which enables strategic assessments and medical account management, through a complete and systematic communication process to the rest of USMA. * Maintains a macro view of the account to appropriately allocate Company resources (e.g., human, technical). * Builds and develops breadth and depth of relationships with key decision makers and can anticipate the account's population health management goals and needs. * Provides customer insights to headquarters via the Voice of the Customer Pulse (VOCP) process. * Serves as a resource for the Health Systems Executive Director Medical Affairs and other members of managed markets organization on other relevant strategic planning. * Serves as a technical resource for questions raised by regional account management and staff on Company products. * Attends and supports scientific and medical meetings. Prepares planned post-meeting deliverables. Education Minimum Requirements: * Advanced healthcare/science doctoral degree (e.g., MD, PharmD, PhD). Required Experience and Skills: * 2+ years of experience in a field-based medical affairs role working with regional and/or national payers or integrated delivery systems or scientific leaders and/or 5+ years of experience as a decision maker in the payer or integrated delivery system space. * Thorough knowledge of clinical medicine, US health care delivery system structure and function, pharmacoeconomics, population health management, quality management, value-based payment and health care delivery policy and trends. * Strong track record of effective cross-functional team collaboration and execution. * Excellent interpersonal communication skills, ability to network, strong personal integrity, collaborative mindset, and a strong customer focus are necessary. * Must possess a thorough understanding of the FDA, OIG, HIPAA and other ethical guidelines relevant to the pharmaceutical industry. * Must be able to organize, prioritize, and work effectively in a constantly changing environment, and have demonstrated project leadership abilities.
