Description:
This role will be the project lead for JD Edwards (JDE) Finance and will lead a chart of accounts conversion, implementation of additional functionality in JDE General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Tax, lead the financial report effort, including rationalization and specification development, and guide the financial aspects for an upgrade from JDE EnterpriseOne 9.0 to 9.2.
The Finance Lead will work directly with the clients Finance Leads and provide training, guidance and mentor-ship.
The Lead must be collaborative in their approach and present options along with suggested approaches/recommendations for all financial related matters.
The Finance Lead will also work with the Inventory, Procurement, Payroll, CAM, Sales, Agreements, Manufacturing Quality, Grower, EDI and Technical teams.
Deliverables:
Responsibilities and Deliverables include: - Identify, author and manage Business Requirements (BRD) documentation and standardization of business processes
Provide best practice and industry specific solutions and create specific functional solutions based on business requirements and identified needs
Create functional designs, test scripts and training documentation for Finance and lead the configuration of the JDE Finance modules including the Chart of Accounts, GL, AR, AP, FA, and Tax
Create test scripts and other documentation related to the Chart of Accounts conversion, as defined by project management
Provide guidance to the Finance team on testing and validation of data and results
Provide functional design guidance and documentation related to forms, reports, integrations, conversions and enhancements (FRICE) for the Finance team
Provide expertise related to Address Book, Vendor Master and Customer Master
Identify and resolve issues, risks and conflicts in the Finance area
Train, mentor and transfer knowledge to the client Finance project team leads and members
Perform other duties as assigned by project management
Position

Requirements:
The Candidate must have 10+ years experience implementing JD Edwards Finance and must have a deep knowledge and understanding of JDE General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Tax, and financial reporting.
The Candidate must have been the Finance Lead for 5 or more Finance implementations and have led or been directly involved with 3 or more Chart of Accounts conversions and/or Finance upgrades in JD Edwards.
The Candidate must have experience with leading Finance projects for clients directly involved in manufacturing, distribution and sales, especially manufacturing and distribution of food and related products.
Other preferred experience includes work within a grower industry including commodity trading, cost sharing and allocations and complex intercompany transactions.
The Candidate must communicate clearly and have above average communication skills.
The Candidate must also exhibit patience and have the skills and the demeanor to educate the Client on available functionality within JD Edwards Finance, provide feasible options to solve business requirements, and provide sound solutioning advice and guidance based on their knowledge and experience.
The Candidate must work well within a project team framework and demonstrate a collaborative approach.
One or more client interviews will be required after initial HCC interview. 2-3 recent client references (last 5-7 years) may also be required in the future
