Trade Transaction Services (TTS) Trade Technology organization supports the Global Trade Services, Trade Finance and Supply Chain management segment of the TTS Treasury and Trade business.

Leads and provides direction and guidance for a wide array of activities associated with project planning and management to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget and to client specifications.
Manages and oversees the end to end project management activities such as project reporting, project planning, issue / risk identification and tracking, scope management, estimation, client management, relationship management and other project documentation preparation for projects of high business complexity (involving multiple systems interfaces that are highly visible to the organization).
Defines and manages the lifecycle from project initiation through to program closure.
Manages and resolves risks, issues and dependencies.
Measures and monitors program actuals, forecasts and budgets and updates plans with accurate, up-to-date information in a timely manner.
Follows financial standards & processes (e.g. monthly external revenue accruals, software capitalization, procurement & external payments).
Reports financial information and status to the required executive level through steering committees.
Secures, leads, motivates and inspires the internal & external resources required to deliver the program.
Establishes the program's governance (e.g. sponsors, approvers, stakeholders).
Manages Program Office Resources. May have formal management responsibility for Program Team members.
Serves as a liaison between business and internal technical groups to ensure delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to specification.
Has regular contact among peers within the firm and externally, including regulators and professional organizations.
Ensures project delivery is in conformance with company methodologies and standards. Contributes to the achievement of area objectives.
Design, architect, code, test, document and implement application release.
Able to deliver across changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
Ability to provide technical architecture for the system, and work with in the team to ensure its followed.
Ability to investigate and provide quick turnaround to production software issues.
Compliance with Citi's System Development Lifecycle and Information Security requirements.
Proactively notify of risks, bottlenecks, problems, issues, and concerns.
Oversee on-time, quality delivery of projects; track project progress, issues, risks and opportunities, communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Work closely with business and tech partners to prioritize demands and build relationship, craft solutions and plan releases per the expectation
Minimum 10-15 years of proven financial industry background (preferably in Credit Cards)
Minimum 10 years of Java application design and development experience
Strong understanding of agile development, object oriented analysis and design patterns, high availability and concurrent programming
Excellent organization skills, attention to detail, ability to multi-task and proactive problem-solver
Highly motivated self-starter demonstrating integrity, initiative and innovation qualities.
Understand the holistic business and technology goals while managing the detailed project execution.
Expertise in Project Management methodologies, tools and techniques (SDLC and Agile).
Has a Masters in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.
Excellent communication skills. Clearly articulating and documenting technical and functional specifications is a key requirement.
Strong Oracle Database and SQL experience
Experience with Linux operating system and writing Shell Scripts
