We are looking for the brightest Java developers to join our Layer and Source Fusion Team in Lebanon, NH, USA. Our mission is to create TomTom's next-generation automated fusion systems and to provide innovative capabilities to transform our map layers into an integrated, pleasing, and seamless whole.
Here's a little taste of your challenge.
Design, develop, implement, debug and productionize tools based on latest technology stack to deliver high quality map data
Provide your valuable ideas and insights to a team that is building the services and data standards to enable high-quality automated map edits
Develop core algorithms for everything from building clean topology models to building and managing efficient geographic transactions
Design automation capabilities that will be used by hundreds of software engineers and will become part of life for data processing units worldwide
Migrate algorithmic fusion concepts to machine-learned, AI-driven fusion
Use state-of-the art mapping tools with customized scripting to create a rapid feedback for modeling map features
Hard Requirement Qualification
To be successful as a Software Engineer requires:
Experience in Java, Python, and/or OO practices
Experience working with AWS (Amazon Web Services), Spring Framework, Junit, and Maven
Ability to develop and deploy software cross-platform or in a distributed cloud environment
Willingness to share and learn new ideas in artificial intelligence and machine learning
Minimum of 2 years software development experience
BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field
