CVS Health is currently hiring for a Java Application Developer to join our team. We are looking for someone to work on all critical functions for the applications assigned, including championing SDLC (Software Development Process) methods and standard methodologies on the team to ensure that quality standards are met.
You will work as part of a team of experienced developers and architects in the Enterprise Person HUB application using Java , DB2, Infosphere MDM, Spring, WebSphere and Unix. You will share our software development goals of building and maintaining high-quality systems and components that achieve a high degree of reuse and maintainability. Additionally, the developer is responsible for developing and implementing technical solutions as assigned; as well as ensure and adhere to all established methodologies, standards and guidelines. The ideal candidate will work well with others, possess strong written/verbal communication, organizational skills and will perform independently in a high volume dynamic environment.
The ideal candidate should be able to anticipate and prevent problems and roadblocks before they occur. You will capture and update necessary information and communicate to appropriate parties as well as coordinate cross functionally to accomplish assigned tasks. As an Advisor you may have the opportunity to mentor less experienced members of the team as well as assist in support and incident resolution that may include on-call rotation.
3+ year's experience in Master data management API based development. Preferably IBM Infosphere Master Data Management including the following:
3+ years of experience with various JAVA Frameworks and Core Java development
3+ years of DB2, SQL or Oracle.
1+ year of leading a project or leading a team.
Minimum 2+ years of working experience in supporting Production environment
3 or more years of experience in Java/J2EE, SQL, SOAP, REST.
2 or more years of experience in unit testing framework
Minimum 3 years' experience with Web Services Development or API's including the following:
3 years experience with DB2
3 years experience with JASON/JAVA
3 years experience with Traditional Development Life Cycle or Agile/Extreme Programming.
Experience with core Java frameworks and development including spring and IBM Infosphere Master Data Management; experience with DB2 is helpful.
Experience with the following technologies: JAVA build tools like Dimensions, QuickBuild , Maven , Gradle and Ant.
Prior Healthcare or RETAIL Background is a plus
Will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems , or closely related technical field and 3 years of experience. Master's degree and 2 years of experience in leading large scale application development, including 2 years of experience with JAVA application development, design, and testing complex programs is preferred.
