5+ yrs professional experience creating large-scale applications that served large customer base

Proven working experience in Java development

Proven hands-on Software Development experience

Strong ownership for building a great customer experience

Hands on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms

Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.

Profound insight of Java and JEE internals (Classloading, Memory Management, Transaction management etc)

Familiarity with common libraries and MVC architectural pattern

Experience in using java multithreading techniques for building fluid front end user experiences

Familiarity in media streaming technologies and protocols (WebRTC, RTSP, HLS etc.)

Knowledge of source control and code review systems (Github, Gerrit)

Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Deployment tools (Jenkins, AntHillPro)

Experience in caching especially in HTTP compliant caches.

A strong sense of ownership and responsibility for code quality that follows best practices

A strong passion for learning and adapting to new technologies

Ability to think critically and independent

UNIX background (Solaris/Linux)

DevOps experience

Experience with Agile/Scrum

Additional Preferred Skills:

Experience building accessible, cross-platform web sites and web applications

Experience with DevOps, Automated Testing and Continuous Delivery

Experience working with Internet-of-things frameworks or platforms (SmartThings, Nest, AWS IOT, etc.)

Familiarity with wireless mesh networking (ZigBee, Z-Wave, Thread, etc.)

Experience building/operating applications dependent on large-scale ( 1MM users) platforms with high availability

Job Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science (Master's a plus); * Ideally will possess 2 to 5 years of field experience in Pennsylvania and/or New Jersey related to environmental investigations and remediation projects; * Field experience related to groundwater, vapor intrusion and soil sampling, and drilling is desired; * Office experience with data reduction, technical report writing, scheduling, and lab coordination a plus; * Demonstrated ability to organize, implement field work, and provide initial field training to new team members; * Knowledge of PA/NJDEP, CERCLA, and RCRA regulations; * Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, judgment and problem-solving capabilities; * Demonstrated ability to follow direction and work independently, as well as, in a team environment; * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as organization and multi-tasking skills; * Working knowledge of computers; AutoCAD, GIS modeling and mapping experience preferred; * Candidates must be able to spend at least 50% of working hours in the field; * 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification; * Possess a valid driver's license in good standing and reliable transportation for job site locations; and, * Availability to work Monday through Friday with occasional evenings and weekends.
