Position Summary :

Experienced Java developer to design, develop and implement the enterprise-level API framework.

General requirements:

1.The person must be able to work in a team and independently.

2.Able to understand the business requirements and convert into technical artifacts.

3.Able to work based on US Eastern or Central time zone.

4.Security knowledge is plus

Job Requirements :

Overall 8-12 yrs of exp;

Technical requirements:

1.Overall 12+ years of hands-on working development experience at enterprise level.

2.Programming languages:

1.Java, Python, JavaScript - Java expertise

1.Jetty/Jboss/Tomcat, IDE tools, Spring boot framework, MVC framework

3.Must have REST API and JSON working experience.

4.Must have LDAP and Active directory integration development experience.

5.Must have working knowledge of using SQL, NoSQL and other databases.

6.Must have knowledge of required modules and components to build the complete solution for any given programming language.

1.OpenShift and Docker technology

2.Jenkins

3.Git, Postman

4.Swagger

5.Puppet/Chef

7.Ability to learn other product SDK and APIs for the integration.

8.Should have OAuth 2.0 and other security knowledge.

Preferred Requirements :

Azure and GCP cloud experience is plus.

Remote is also being considered. This lead role is an opportunity to join the engineering team within the Analytics organization working on projects that will shape the future of the organization. The immediate need will be to join our team supporting the Attain product. Attain is a mobile product made for our members to help them lead a happier & healthier life. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of technical experience designing, developing, & deploying java-based applications. Most of the work will be focused on the backend services that are used by the Attain mobile app and internal tools leveraged to support the app. They will have a demonstrated ability to communicate advanced technical concepts to broad audiences and an ability to mentor junior engineers. * Design and Develop Highly Scalable, Available microservices using Microservices Architecture. * Build APIs and services that support both mobile apps offered by CVSHealth and are used internally. * Advance the backend service architecture technology stack with infrastructure and DevSecOps partners. * Maintain complex, shared Enterprise Java services - security, logging, common APIs and enforcing coding standards. * Migrate on-prem web applications and backend services to the cloud. * Ensure effective unit test framework is leveraged throughout services. * Accountable for application uptime and maintenance. * Develop CI/CD pipelines to support automated testing and releasing of new functionality. * Triage and resolve issues with end users. * Communicate advanced technical concepts to the team to gain support of technology change and to explain solution designs. * Decompose high level and complex requirements into task level work for themselves and others on the team. * Ability to understand and build complex systems to solve challenging analytical problems * Experiments with available tools and advises on new tools in order to determine optimal solution given the requirements dictated by the model/use case. * Strong collaboration and communication skills within and across teams * Drive best practice, quality and consistency within design and development phases * Contributing to team meetings , troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms * Involved in Fixing Defects of all levels that occurred during Testing phase and Production phase * Knowledge in developing applications using Agile and SCRUM methodologies * Proficiency with CI/CD technologies like Jenkins including setting up pipelines Required Qualifications * 7+ years of experience building Microservices applications using, Java, Kafka, Mongo, ELK, etc. * 5+ years of experience using, designing and building REST/Web Service APIs. * 3+ years of experience working within of containerization environments and infrastructure (e.g Docker, Kubernetes) * 3+ years of experience developing solutions using Message Systems, including RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc. * 3+ years of with at least one document-oriented DB (MongoDB, CouchDB, etc) * Experience working with AWS/Azure/GCP preferred * Experience with at least one ORM (e.g Hibernate) preferred * Experience with building and testing automation with J-Unit or Cucumber preferred * Experience with Node.js preferred * Experience with caching DBs preferred (Redis, MemCache, etc.) preferred * Experience with working on ETL systems/services COVID Requirements COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement CVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
