Role: Java Architect
Job Location: Greenville, SC
Duration: 12+ Months
Interview: Telephonic/Skype

Must Have:
Proficient in Java (1.7+) and its ecosystems
Strong OOAD and architectural skills
Proficient with MVC Struts and its ecosystem
Proficient with 4-tier architectures
Experience with relational databases such as MS SQL
NoSQL databases, a plus
Experience with Agile practices (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
Proficient with source-control tools and best practices
Experience with JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as Sencha
Proficient with constructing design and architectural documents

Good to have Skills:
Experience with Docker
Experience with AWS stack
Experience with Redis stateless architecture
Flexibility and willingness to pitch in where needed. This may mean on occasion helping with other functions (e.g. QA, Operations)
Excellent verbal and written communications skills and an interest in working in a collaborative team environment
Micro-service architecture
Occasional travel may be required depending on the project deliverables.

Lidl Store Associates are involved in every aspect of store operations, such as running the cash register, stocking the shelves, and even operating the pallet jack.
