Software Engineer Senior

HOW A SOFTWARE ENGINEER SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Designs, develops, evaluates, plans and tests engineering specifications for software programs and applications

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: A Bachelor's degree in software engineering or a related technical field is required; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.

Four (4) years of equivalent related military experience may be substituted for Bachelors degree.

Required Experience: 6+ years of related experience

Experience with Java and Spring development in Linux environments

Experience in object oriented programming, development patterns, unit testing and design

Experience with code repositories and code review practices

Willingness to work in a team environment and participate in code reviews and design discussions

Experience in Agile development processes

Experience with Ruby and/or Python scripting

XML, XSLT and XSD

The likely salary range for this position is $136,000 - $184,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
