Responsibilities

  • Support Agile Application Development technologies and capabilities in the areas of software development, systems engineering, integration, and test of software applications and infrastructure. This effort will support the naval client Flight Weather Briefer (FWB) program.

  • Working in a team environment, write, test, debug, and maintain computer programs, conceive, design, and test logical structures for solving problems through computer programs, utilize programming languages and tools to code, debug, compile, test, and deploy computer programs.

  • Utilize code repositories and configuration management tools to successfully manage computer programming projects.

  • Remain adaptable to the ever changing computer science discipline by quickly learning and implementing emerging technologies and identify opportunities for use of emerging technologies.

Qualifications

  • Experience with the following technologies: Angular (typescript) Java with Spring MVC/REST/Data and JPA

  • Desired: Docker, Ansible or Terraform, Git, Jenkins, Java Applications servers (Tomcat/JBoss/etc), Agile Development

  • Additional Desired: Liquibase, Active MQ, Solr/Lucene, Ansible, Cucumber

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar field

  • Must have or be able to obtain security clearance.
