Location: Torrance, CA - onsite

FSLA Status: Exempt, Full-Time, Direct Hire

OVERVIEW:

A growing global automotive parts company in Torrance, CA, is seeking a Japanese Bilingual Sales Representative. This role focuses on managing existing accounts and communicating with new clients as needed.

Travel is minimal, with less than 10% expected, as most meetings are conducted virtually. Qualified candidates are Japanese bilingual, and should possess creativity, a positive attitude, and a competitive spirit, ready to excel in B2B sales.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT ARE LIMITED TO:

Promote OEM products to drive sales revenue with both new and existing clients.

Establish and strengthen business relationships through phone calls, emails, and in-person visits.

Create compelling product brochures highlighting features and services.

Engage in effective sales discussions with US and Mexican clients, presenting impactful proposals.

Provide quotes, negotiate prices, and manage shipping schedules in coordination with internal departments and external vendors.

Maintain accurate customer orders and information in the company's system.

Research market trends, pricing, and competitor information to develop effective sales strategies.

Stay informed about product and company operations by collaborating with international headquarters and other department heads.

Attend trade shows and events to expand the company's network and drive growth.

Perform additional duties as needed to support the sales team and achieve company goals.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Japanese bilingual proficiency is required.

Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

Self-motivated and results-oriented.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Ability to drive to visit clients.

Spanish language skills are a significant plus.

The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position.
